This YouTube example is 360p and filmed under pretty harsh conditions, so actual videos and sound should be better. And, with iMovie onboard, the ability to edit and manipulate the videos seems pretty impressive. I do wonder how this (larger) form factor will work for comfortably capturing videos, compared to, for example, an iPhone or a Flip Video camera.</p>

I don't anticipate using the iPad 2 to do much filming. If I'm out and about, I at least have my iPhone 4 with me (better camera and easier to hold steady) if not my new Nikon D3100. However, I am looking forward to editing photos and films shot with my other cameras on the iPad while I'm on trips. Haven't tried it out yet, but hoping the iPad can edit 720p 30fps H.264 video shot with my D3100 (I'm willing to sacrifice 1080p for the ability to play it on iPad/iPhone/AppleTV without any conversion).

I do plan on using the cameras for Skype/FaceTime though.
