If you need a refresher, this was one of the earliest iPad keyboard cases to be introduced, but has only started shipping recently after some manufacturing woes. We've had sometime to put this baby through the paces so read past the break for the lowdown."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1298347437.usr105634.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>It was interesting reading this review, as this product really piques my interest. Interesting to me was the fact that since this is a touch screen and works with touch, there is no mouse pad so it looks odd initially. That and the top is heavier than the bottom so sitting it on your lap may cause some problems when you need to touch the screen. I'm thinking if I go this route, why not just bring a laptop? The screen keyboard has never been a problem for me though, what are your thoughts?</p>

Make it twist as well as rotate to the back (like a tablet PC) and you might have something. But the prospect of mashing keys while you hold it doesn't work.

I had one for 24 hrs and returned it. Pure junk. Cheaply made, next to no key travel and shockingly heavy with the iPad in place. And what happened to the glossy finish ?

I've had two iPads (wifi-only on one), and tried several physical keyboard solutions, including Apple's own wobbly keyboard/dock, and finally sold 'em both and bought the smallest MacBook Air. While the on-screen keyboard was fine for light duty, I never managed to get comfortable with longer documents, work-related stuff that simply worked better on the MBA, and MS Office 2011. That won't discourage me though from looking seriously at "some" tablet in the future ... and now Android and WebOS are catching my eye ...
