Open Handset Alliance member Myriad has just announced a tool called Alien Dalvik, which is Android's Dalvik VM ported to other systems."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/adt/auto/1297354346.usr206.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing for Android but is sure is cool. Imagine being able to run any Android program on any device you choose (though why you would choose anything other than an Android device is beyond me). Myriad plans to release Alien Dalvik for Meego initially then move to other platforms soon after. It will be interesting to watch how this&nbsp;develops. What are your thoughts?</p>
