AT&T has started running ads that demonstrate a key difference between the iPhone running on their network and Verizon's: simultaneous voice and data transmission."

It's a cute ad to be sure, and it does address the one major failing with Verizon, the lack of simultaneous data and voice on their network. However this isn't true apparently if the customer is using WiFi as they can still make and receive calls, it is only when using the Verizon data network that this isn't possible. So there is a work around for that problem, however most of the time I have found it handy has been when I was mobile and not using a WiFi hotspot. And I imagine for most that are Verizon customers it won't even be an issue since they are used to it now. For AT&T customers switching I don't see it as a huge deal, since it doesn't happen very often when I need to use both simultaneously, but I do like to have that option. How about you? Is this issue a deal breaker if you were thinking of switching to Verizon?

GOTTA have simultaneous voice and data!

Why? Because it's been the promise of mobile communications since the late 90s and I accept no compromises!

W?BIC!
