Well, unless you were hoping to be one of those pre-ordering. At 8:10pm Eastern they shut the operation down, and according to Verizon Wireless President Dan Mead "in our first two hours, we had already sold more phones than any first day launch in our history." Most impressive when you consider it was only open to existing customers and still claimed that record. No details on numbers yet, and I wonder how they will compare on February 9th and 10th when it is open to everyone. If you want to get in on this the online ordering starts at 3am on February 9th, and the stores (Verizon, Apple, Best Buy and Wal-Mart) will open up at 7am on February 10th if you want to brave the lines.*</p>
