Flickr accidentally deleted the entire account of one its users -- a paying, Pro user no less --, removing 4 years worth of pictures. What happened is that the user reported another user for lifting his copyrighted photos and Flickr accidentally deleted his account instead of the infringing user's."

Ouch. I'm not so sure free service would appease me, even if it was for four years. The user isn't too happy obviously, and has a blog post about the whole experience and what this is going to entail for him in the next few weeks (or months) as he tries to rebuild his library and links. From the sounds of it, he does have them backed up, although Flickr had no backup in place. I don't think I would expect it on a free account, but if I was paying for the Pro level account I think I would expect some sort of backup of my photos. What are your thoughts?
