As you can see below, Apple will allow some leeway in water damage, even if the red indicator has been triggered, so long as no corrosion is present."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1296566351.usr105505.jpg" style="border: 0;" /></p><p>While Apple Geniuses usually have leeway in policy enforcement, it's nice to see this in writing.&nbsp; There have been reports that the LCI can be activated without there being any water damage at all (for example, during high humidity).&nbsp; I'm glad Apple has listened to users (and probably their Geniuses) and changed their policy.</p>
