While most notebooks and many portable hard drives provide security slots for attaching cable locks, securing the item in public or when unattended for stretches of time, iPads lack any form of security slot. MacLocks has developed a secure case with a built-in security slot -- users can then attach a cable to the case."

This wouldn't be a bad solution for an office or dorm room. The company, called Maclocks, also makes the same type of locks for laptops and iMacs. You can buy the clear case alone for $39.95, or get the package deal with the lock for $64.95.
