Kuwait is one of the more progressive (or less conservative depending on your viewpoint) Middle East countries, and such a blanket ban seemed somewhat out of the blue.</p><p>In any case, this teaches us all to be critical of what we read; just because it is in a book, newspaper, or on the Internet, it isn't always true!</p>

Funny, the original "news" was repeated EVERYWHERE. The retraction, well, this is the only of the many blogs that I read that had it. Another symptom of our post-first-reason-later society. Thanks, Yuan, for keeping it real and for posting the actual News (with a capital N) first. You just got another thumbs up on my "good guy" ticker.
