The free service was always a matter of time. The question is: What extra value will be added to keep it's $99/yr users?

I cant imagine 20GB of storage being available for free users. Maybe 2GB free.
Syncing of calendars and contacts, if free, may be limited to number of calendars, groups, etc.

Find my iPhone...THERE is a good question of where that would fall. Would love for it to be a seperate service entirely.

Perhaps that's why they bought LaLa: Online iTunes storage locker for paid MobileMe customers?
