Since this one is free I may have to give it a try. It is available for the iPhone/iPod Touch, and the Pulse News Reader is available for free for the iPad. Typically I just go to Google when on my laptop (but it doesn't work very well on my iPad), but switch around to several on the iPad. What do you use for your RSS feeds?

Mostly I use the Google Reader website in Safari on both iPad and iPhone- the same as I do on my desktops (except in Firefox mostly).

Why? Because Google Reader syncing of read/unread items is important to me.

I've tried Pulse, The Early Edition, Flipboard, etc. on my iPad. While all are nice, each also lacks something. I think I'd love The Early Edition if it would sync with Google Reader (rather than just letting me import feeds). I haven't tried Reeder yet, but I think that's next.

For reading of individual longer articles, I love Instapaper and its integration with Twitter, Twitterific and all browsers (via bookmarklets).
