Even if they only updated iMovie it would have been worth it. And best of all, if you purchased a Mac with iLife on or after October 1st this year, you can <a href="http://redirectingat.com/?id=3964X639382&amp;xs=1&amp;url=http://www.apple.com/ilife/uptodate/&amp;sref=http://www.cultofmac.com/just-bought-a-mac-get-ilife-11-for-just-7/64926?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+cultofmac%2FbFow+%28Cult+of+Mac%29" target="_blank">upgrade</a> for a measily $7.00 USD. Nice.&nbsp;</p>

And it looks like you'll be able to buy individual apps rather than the entire suite via the Mac app store.

Anyone interested in the upgrade should do some research before buying; iPhoto has pretty awful performance on my Mac Mini. Doing something as simple as resizing the window pins the CPU usage at 174%. Lots of people complaining about the same thing in the reviews at the Apple store. I never used iPhoto '09 (that's right, I never fired it up in four months), so I have nothing to compare it with; but the performance isn't what I was expecting from a Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz CPU with 4 GB of RAM.

Hmmm runs fine on the new 'Air I picked up at
the Lincoln Park grand opening this morning. I didn't resize the window but
I ran it full screen without any slowdown.

Try building a book with it - I'm really not happy with how sluggish the program is. But we may have different standards for what acceptable performance is. :)

I doubt we have different standards for acceptable performance. I'll
try doing a book.
