Now the company has released another offering to the App Store in the way of a wireless remote."

The app is free and available now on iTunes [link], and if you are connected to your FiOS wireless network you can pair your iPhone to your cable box and use it as you would any remote. Setup is supposed to be painless, but I have to wonder, like the author of this article, why they didn't just roll it into the DVR app? Oh well, who knows. I don't have Verizon FiOS anyway so why should I care right?
