Distracted

I've been having a problem with playing the videos made on my Sanyo FH1. The videos are 1920x1080p, 60fps (actually 59.94) MPEG4 (H264) with 24.1 Mbps bitrate. The audio is AAC 48kHz, variable bitrate (128 kbps). I cannot get these videos to play or play smoothly in any video player I have tried so far (Quicktime, Windows media player, Media player classic home theater, Splash Lite, and VLC). Also, when I take video at 1080p, 30fps, it gets a bit smoother, but not acceptable at all. Even at 720p, 30fps it isn't as smooth as it should be.
Oh yah, I have been trying the videos on a Thinkpad X200 with Windows XP and a home-built computer with Windows 7 64 bit (Intel E2180 2.0 Ghz dual-core CPU, 4GB RAM and Asus EAH4670 video card that has an ATI Radeon 4670 GPU).
Any thoughts for fixes? any other software that I can try or do I really need a more powerful computer just to play my videos back properly?!
thanks
