AT&T will offer customers 3G pre-paid data plans for iPad, complete with Apple's easy on-device activation and management. But that is not all. Verizon is also set to begin selling the Wi-Fi version of the iPad at the end of October, with an optional bundle that includes the MiFi Hotspot for an extra $130.00 USD. Since you can't use the iPad 3G on the Verizon network, this is a good option (I do the same thing with my Wi-Fi only iPad) and it turns out the price difference is what you would pay for a 3G version of an iPad.
