The tweet, which has been deleted, promised that more details would be coming soon."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1287026065.usr17748.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>It looks like Zune software -may- be coming to Mac OS X in the near future in support of Windows Phone 7. And not just a minimal functionality helper application to provide syncing, but a full-featured ("more substantial") application. According to a report from Engadget, a public beta will be available "later in 2010" to sync content with WP7 devices and Macs. Personally I wonder why this is even much of a topic - how many Mac users own a Zune or will consider a Windows Phone 7? Unless this is written with some excellent cross-platform tools (making for an easy port), it doesn't seem to make much sense. Or could this be simply a marketing ploy to generate some buzz?</p>
