I liked the name "Lighting" more than Venue Pro, but I'll forgive Dell because the 4.1" AMOLED screen with a keyboard gives you potentially the best of both worlds. I knew they would mess up on the storage but I will still get this. HTC and their crappy LCD screen and camera's are not for me. Not to mention the Gorilla glass so I can carry the phone without a case if I want to. 4.1" AMOLED goodness, cant wait to get this into the office and show off to my android and iphone foes! :)

Well I just read an article stating : "The focus (Samsung) will sport a 4in WVGA Super AMOLED screen, 5MP shooter, MicroSD expansion slot (good for up to 16 GB).".

Now this is the opposite of what I have read so far about WP7 but maybe MS realized that denying users the ability to replace SD cards was a capital mistake and corrected it.....

I really doubt that. :(

Hmm. That's QUITE interesting...and surprising! I didn't think any of the OEMs would have a removable storage slot like this - I assumed it would be directly on the motherboard. Thanks for sharing!

@*&#@#ing Microsoft Press Pass got the info wrong - they listed it as having 8 GB of storage, but CNET says 16 GB....

So based on what Cnet is stating the HD7 will have 16GB of memory too?

What is wrong with MS? Is it possible that they messed up so extensively?!?!?!?

I know this is off topic for this post but at least we're talking about WP7.

In all the WP7 screenshots, videos I have seen to date, I have looked to see if in the application list we see a "tasks" application. Unfortunately I haven't seen it so far. Could it be that pocket outlook in WP7 doesn't support tasks? I seriously hope that is not the case....

International availability news?

I haven't heard anything yet, but Dell tends to do most things on an international basis, so I'd say the odds are good...

Phones might be trickier; I haven't seen a single bit of info on the Streak in my area.
