You're never just watching TV anymore-you're watching while surfing or texting or tweeting or something. ABC's new app listens for audio cues from their new show, My Generation, and displays accompanying content on your iPad."

Interesting melding of two existing technologies. These days I watch TV with my iPad near, just in case I want to look up information about something that I've seen or am watching (using IMDB, WikiPedia, ad nauseam). The next step is here, near real time interaction between the Couch Potato (me) and the TV via the iPad. This effort is limited to one show, but the possibilities are endless ("hey, viewer, you haven't responded, press enter or I'll come out of here and get you!").
