Considering it does the same job as plugging a laptop in to the TV via a cable, I just can't see a need for it. If anything it just adds more complexity to a home setup that you could really do without.&nbsp; From a corporate view I can see this being used for presentations and demo's but not in the home.&nbsp; What do you think? Is this something you could use at home?</p>

This is a great idea, and would let me attach my laptop to the TV without my 25foot cable. Sure, I could put the laptop close by the TV and use a wireless keyboard/mouse, but that's a bit inconvenient.

For an occasional use, this could allow you to replace a HTPC, allowing you to surf the web while streaming your media. Of course this doesn't aid in recording shows, but not everyone needs that function.

In my opinion, it is a priced a bit too high. A $75-100 would make it a better alternative to using a cable.

I currently use my Xbox360 for streaming Netflix to the big screen, but I can see using this if I didn't have the Xbox. Laptop on the coffee table in reach w/ video playing on the big screen across the room would be cool for watching a movie or some PC games. I don't see anything about 5.1 surround sound being supported over the HDMI (obviously not over the 3.5mm audio out), though....
