I setup PC'S for a living. The damage that HP, Dell and Toshiba and you name it; have done, to the psyche of the average computer user is irreparable.
The excruciatingly bad "out of the box" experience is MINDBLOWING. To think that HP actually thinks that users appreciate this crap is beyond comprehension.
When you have %90 of the market, the dingbats in the boardroom are the ones ignoring reality and looking at the bottom line.
If they just put Win 7 out there all by itself with some simple video tutorials on how to use what is ALREADY THERE, they would save a lot of peoples sanity. If CRApple has done one iThing right, it is that they do not let anyone screw with the out of box experience.
