I did it yesterday afternoon. For anyone who's been keeping up on the details of Windows Phone 6.5, it'll be no surprise that on a non-touchscreen device like the Jack, there's little difference. Besides the new apps, the biggest visual difference is the "hourglass" or "wait cursor", which is now a set of colored orbs that spin around. Does give it a bit of a freshened look.

I tried the marketplace and it seems to work fine. Limited selection at this point, but they're just getting started. Pricing isn't bad, with a fair number of free and low priced apps.

The install itself went well, except that I had to manually restart afterwards, since the unit hung during the automatic restart. The manual restart did the trick.

They also claim that battery life was optimized and I did seem to see a bit of a difference. If that pans out, it might be the best reason to go ahead with this upgrade, since actual interface and functional changes are minimal.
