I have the CM1312nfi MFP as well, and I've been very happy with it. In addition to what you said, the device's styling is a little clumsy, but it works very well. The Mac drivers are also solid, if unspectacular; the HP Scan app is rather barebones, but it does the job. The print quality is excellent; I've given people framed photos printed with it on HP Glossy Paper as presents. Not bad for an all-in-one color laser printer.
