Most PC's do not have a BT interface (HID) which allows a headset to replace both the speaker and the microphone. When you pair a headset with a PC, it's assumed that its a stereo headset for playing music, not talking.
Phones however, have dual mode BT interfaces -- one for headset, and one for music listening. In fact, the HID on the phone ALSO includes an interface between the two, so that when a call comes in, you can use the same headset to listen and speak to the caller, if the headphones are so equipped!
