Hi Jason,

I just remodeled my office, having an engineered wood floor installed. I also have a Herman Miller chair like yours. Don't buy a pad, make something, etc. I purchased a Karastan wool area rug and put a good pad under the rug. (Bought the rug on sale very inexpensively). Look for a rug with a thick, dense weave. The chair moves nicely on it. Protects the floor. Quiet. Attractive.
