I can see the multitouch thing being a problem if Google used the same type of technology to make that available in the G1 as Apple did for the iPhone... But the 3.5mm jack? Come on... Those jacks have been around for Eons... Also, the ability to have hands-free work through a headphone jack of that type has been around for a long time too. I have a Mitac Mio A701 that has a 2.5mm jack with headphone/microphone support. This phone came out almost 2 years before the iPhone did. I'm sure support for this type of thing with a 3.5mm jack was out long before the iPhone as well). So that can't be true about Apple bullying HTC about that. The multitouch on the other hand I can see being true. It all depends on the technology used to impliment it into the device.
