the idea IS great. The cost is not. AS much as I would love the jacket I cannot justify the cost.
Then there is a question.: why do guys think women need less pockets? After we are done stashing all of our gadgets (phone, PDA, GPS unit, MP3 player, etc.) our ID's, our accessories for the gadgets - where are we supposed to put our makeup and lipstick and hairbrush and other things that make our purses weigh 25-30 lbs? Ask your wives or girlfriends to empty those huge lethal looking purses they carry and you will get the idea about the amount of "storage" we need.
Then I looked at the design of the Female version of the jacket. It is shorter then I personally would prefer. The current version does not take into account different female body types. If you look at average size of female in US you will understand what I mean. It is not about getting bigger size jacket. It is how it fits, especially over the hip area. Longer may be more preferable for those who are curvier.
