Currently I'm using a Verizon Wireless XV6800 and really like it, except that the low memory really curtails usability (namely, I can't run Opera Mobile on it without getting a ton of out of memory errors.)

I've been thinking of the Omnia, because it has more available RAM and although I lose the hardware keyboard, I think usability will generally be better.

The single biggest drawback to me is the thought of losing all of my customizations that I have adapted to based on SPB's awesome programs that enhance the today screens, etc. I'm wondering if you can ditch all the "widget" stuff from Samsung and make the device look like a standard WM 6.1 device? I can configure the device to do exactly what I need it to do without "childish" iPhone "wanna be" graphics that Samsung is putting on it.

Jon, can you configure the Omnia to be just a plain ol' WM6.1 device, or are you stuck with the "enhancements" they've made to the interface?

Thanks,
Bob
