Well, at least the new Mobile Ultra 8GB microSDHC product is a Class 6 card, whereas other 8GB microSDHC cards that I've seen on the market so far (including an older card from SanDisk and those from A-DATA, Transcend, etc) have been Class 4. I think that means the new card has a faster minimum read/write speed (and probably faster maximum read/write as well).
The new Mobile Ultra's 10yr warranty is also double the 5yr warranty of the other microSDHC cards that I've seen. I wonder if the Mobile Ultra cards have a longer write/erase life span?
But I can buy these other 8GB microSDHC cards for about $50. Unfortunately the new Mobile Ultra 8GB microSDHC seems to be selling for double that (about $100) online! For that price maybe we should wait for the 16GB microSDHC cards to arrive
