I liked Mobile Shell 1.5 and 2.0 is a step in the right direction but overall it left me with a totally underwhelmed feeling.

I liked having a screen before password to have quick access to appointments and the time but there was no visual notification of a new email. If you have a few unread emails and a new one arrives, you're not absolutley sure if there's a new email unless you remember how many emails you had before. The contacts app with the keypad is a great way to find contact and the dial tab is a nice touch but not that much better. There isn't one feature that truely a must have.

My 2.0 trial has expired and I haven't even bother re-installing my 1.5 because 2.0 did make me realize 1.5 was pretty bad but I don't want to shell out the bucks for 2.0. Also, a lot have screens increase the amount of taps to do most things.

I still have Phone Suite installed which I kind of like but needs some visual enhancments and I'm not talking about visual transitions. Call History needs a white list/black list icon on the caller but that's another app.

Overall the Mobile Shell is a little blah and too expensive.

I think Mobile Shell and Phone Suite need to be combined into one package for the same price.
