Is it AAC-LC, that is, that of iTunes? Then, both players will work - assuming you get the additional pack for PMusic.
I still recommend going thru my reviews (links above) to see whether the, for example, CPU usage, the crossfade, streaming etc. are worth or you should go for, say, CorePlayer.
I'd do the later because it's THE premiere video player and has WAY less CPU usage than either Pocket Player and Pocket Music. While it's, currently, not as powerful as Pocket Player (no UPnP (albeit it'll come with 1.2), no fancy plug-ins, no crossfade, no stereo widening etc), if you don't need these extras, CorePlayer might prove handy if you also look for a decent video player AND want a player with as low CPU usage as possible.
