Great comparison BTW!

Let me also add some stuff:

- if you want to see the CPU usage (extremely important on Intel Xscale CPU's) and/or the CPU usage of the equalizer, make sure you check out the above-linked 2nd MM Bible sneak peek:crossfade/gapless playback, media compatibility&power usage

Just some comparative remarks (in addition to the AAC compliance explained above):

- Of the two (and, for that matter, on the entire platform) it's only Pocket Player that supports seamless (!) crossfading. It's REALLY great!

- Of the two (and, for that matter, on the entire platform) it's only Pocket Player that supports some kind of stereo widening. It's, however, in no way as good as official SRS WOW HD support - let alone the stereo widening algorithm used in the Nokia N95. To find out more on this q, check out http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...ic.php?t=57876

- Both of them can (only) play back OGG and MP3 streams - that is, no streaming AAC support at all. See THIS for more info.

- Of the two, it's only Pocket Player that supports UPnP. See http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...c.php?p=446945 for more info.

- I've found the video playback of PP 3.51 beta 6 pretty bad, compared to even the built-in WMP, let alone CorePlayer / TCPMP. Did the Conduits folk fix this in the final version?

Also, should you have any questions regarding these players, feel free to ask - I'll soon (and, at last) publish my Multimedia Bible, of which I've linked to some chapters above.
