Spacetime Arcade Realms Now Freeware

Once your vessel is armed, prepare to test your skills in destruction, strategy, defense, and maneuverability as you engage in space warfare." First released way back in 2003, Realms garnered quite a few kudos for its then great graphics and gameplay. Spacetime (developers of the eponymous mathematics software package) has now declared Realms as freeware - you can't beat the price of $0! If arcade-style shooters interest you, this is definitely one to check out.
