Default Fix for Toshiba Portege G900 Released

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=4007

"As mentioned before, Toshiba was expected to release a software patch for the Portégé G900's idle problem and here it is - just released in time: This patch is designed to resolve the issue of G900 devices failing to return to standby mode from deep sleep mode correctly, which some users have experienced and should only be installed by those who've encountered this specific problem. This patch can be installed onto your G900 either from an SD card or from the phone's memory."

Arne at the unwired.net has gotten wind of the news that a fix for the standby bug suffered by some G900 users has been issued by Toshiba. You can get the fix here. I can only echo Arne's sentiments - that was very fast work by Toshiba.
