After having palm treos for a few years now, I find it frustrating to use devices that do not respond to a finger touch... I still use the stylus on occasion but not nearly as often as I just use my finger. That feature is what makes the iphone seem appealing to my husband and I both, though we are not likely to just run out and purchase one immediately. We are definitely more likely to choose new, equitable technology with finger touch over anything that doesn't have it. edit: that applies to applications as well..
