Strange you've found the WM6 IEM actually faster than Opera 8.6x - the two Operas have always beaten WM6 IEM running on exactly the SAME WM6 Pocket PC.
I really recommend the benchmark data I've published in the comparison chart (
http://www.winmobiletech.com/032007W...ers/chart.html ) of my just-announced Web Browsing Bible; it certainly shows WM6 IEM is, in general, 1.5-2 times slower than the brand new Opera Mobile 8.65 with all kinds of Web pages (unless you use the One Column mode on IEM; then, it's "only" 1.25-1.5 times slower.)
