Default Ah, the memories.

It was 1977 and I was 9. Opening night for Star Wars. My Grandfather took myself and my two brothers to the cinema in downtown Harrison, Ohio. That theater was equipped with the not so latest in technology. It was a signle theater cinema... like all the old ones. (My sisters went with my Grandma to pick strawberries... I'm sure we got the best end of that deal.)

Anyway, I also have to admit, it was one of the defining moments in my life. It was right about the time I started learning about programming. That Christmas, my Dad and I built a computer and I was amazed when he wrote a program that, get this, drew a circle on the screen. I was amazed that you could do that. First off, I was impressed with Dad.. becuase I didn't know he could so such cool things. Then we saw Star Wars... R2D2... OH MY! I was hooked, and I've been hooked ever since.
