As I mentioned in the review, I tried walking around downtown and found that iGuidance was a little too fussy about having to be 'on the road'. Walking on the sidewalk it told me a number of times to "proceed to the nearest road" so, I'm not sure how effective it would be in pedestrian application. It's basically designed for the driver, so I don't think it would route you the wrong way on a one-way road.
