Well, I don't think SPT was launched
before DMT because of potential MS sponsorship. Jason had been planning SPT a
long time.
Would Jason seek MS sponsorship? Sure, I'm not sure who wouldn't. Is Jason releasing Zune Thoughts at the behest of Microsoft? No. Knowing Jason, he's doing this because he believes in what he sees in Zune, and
therefore is making a site. Is he right? We'll see. As an iPod (and Powerbook) user, I will remain a skeptic of MS efforts -- but, in all honesty, real competition is good for the consumer. The iPod line is getting a little anemic at the moment.
