What's your memory stats on IPAQ hx4705 with WM5?
Well, it's been a couple weeks since the OS upgrade. I've still got some issues with hesitation and responsiveness of the programs but it's not at the "beat the darn thing with a hammer" time yet. I realize I'm still having issues with the filesys.exe running quite often in background with the CPU but not much I can do about that from all that I've read.
That leads me to looking into the Storage/Program issue to see if I can improve that for some better performance. Right not I am showing...
- Storage: 82.87MB Total, 62.41MB In Use and 20.46MB Free
- Program: 57.66MB Total, 36.60MB In Use and 21.06MB Free
Is your hx4700/4075 reading similar or what's the best you've seen? I am running some today plugins like iLauncher, HandySwitcher/Menu and PocketBreeze and loaded on the device itself versus SD/CF. I am making the assumption that this plays into my program memory numbers as well.
Any thoughts on how best to manage this or is it just a non-issue with the hx4705 having slower ROM for operating WM5? Any thoughts appreciated before I go do some major experimenting!!
