I love the Google personalised home page for mobile, but if you do any searches from it then you get the results in the same reduced format as searching from
http://www.google.com/xhtml . Which is a shame. So I have Google bookmarked twice: once for the personalised home page summary, secondly for doing a search with full results.
Regarding the
http://www.google.com/gwt/n search option, can anyone confirm that the pictures are reduced in size for loading ? I also surf on GPRS a fair bit (though mostly on Wi-Fi from home), and if loading pages in this way reduces the size (data) of images then that’s a real boon, cause images obviously tend to be data heavy – but I like seeing the them when on GPRS.
