But if I'm assuming correctly it sounds like your wife is also not compelled to move to Windows Mobile. Why?
[Assumption] Because what she has meets her needs. And she's probably the typical user.
[/Assumption] So her lack of upgrade is not just an indictment against POS but perhaps also WM.
As for PS locking down the platform to prevent 3rd party apps... that only referred to one of their vertical silos (is that redundant?) not the whole platform.
