Actually, IMHO the average Joe needs more than that. We geeks can get along with 100-150 DPI, but the average user will need 300DPI or more (300 DPI being inkjet quality, 600-2400 DPI being laser quality)

I have an e-book reader on my Samsung i700, but I hardly use it. It's too hard to read. The form factor (screen size and shape) is about right, it's just the text quality is too rotten.
