You can safely buy the cheapest card. There is not much point in getting a hi-end expensive card if you only want to use it in a PDA and want only infrequently write to it in a desktop card reader. (More expensive/faster cards can be 2-3 times faster written in a USB2 desktop card reader. This will be of little importance to you, however, if you don't plan to put hundreds of Megabytes on your card each day.)
