First, welcome to the board
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Use the built-in modem in the mobile phone to dial up the Internet? It'll certainly work.
If, however, you want to transfer other stuff, that indeed won't work because of the PPC2k limitations (if you still have PPC2k on your PPC). Get Peacemaker from Conduits at
