Jason, if you check my member settings, you will see I do not block ads from PPCT. I rarely click-through, but I often read them. I was simply stating that I believe there ought to be a very clear delineation between ad content and journalistic content. I assume front page articles are just that -- articles -- especially when the icons tag them as such. I would have read the whole spiel from clickapps, if I had known up front that it was an ad. Instead I was turned off by what I felt was a deceptive (in my opinion) way of getting me to read an ad.
I trust PPCT for PPC news, opinions, insights, help from the forums and much more. That trust comes from feeling I will get news and opinions uncolored by ad dollars. I'll read your ads, but I would prefer to clearly know that's what they are, so I can continue to trust the rest of the content.
