The h2215 does have power-saving features too.

Tap Start > Settings. From there, click the System tab, and you should find a shortcut called "Power". The last two options allow you to define power-saving options when on battery power and on external power. You can also configure settings for the backlight by clicking the link at the bottom of that settings page. Hope that helps.
