Definite Skype fan here...
I loaded up Skype on my Axim X30 before a recent trip to Japan and loved it. I'd actually known about it for quite a while, but never had an excuse to use it. Luckily my host in Japan had a WiFi network in his house, so I was able to get up every morning and call my wife and son at home the night before!
The quality of the calls were incredible. I'd even venture to say they were better than either land-line or cellular calls. The design of the software is incredibly slick. And it's FREE! You can't beat that with a stick.
