I had this problem too,
It appeared after I put on the 1.00.14 Rom in and it still happened with the latest 1.10.03 ROM.
It seems to have stopped now after removing the options related to Scheduled Active Sync, and setting the Mobile Schedules to Manual.
Now if it's left in the cradle overnight (PC Off) it is no longer is powered on in the morning. (it was staying on before)
I'm not convinced it's fully fixed as the power on password still won't appear unless I do a Soft Reset (set to 1 hour Delay). So I'm not sure if something is running in the background to prevent this.
