Or if you want Compact Flash cards. While 1 GB SD cards are available, they're still much more expensive than 1 GB CF cards. For example, I've seen a Viking 1 GB CF card available for as low as $106 (after rebate); 1 GB SD cards still seem to be at $230 or more.

Also, there are CF cards larger than 1 GB available, which isn't true for SD yet (I don't think). You can get a 2 GB CF card for under $300, not much more than a 1 GB SD card. You can also get a 4 GB CF card, but the $700+ price might scare you away. :-)
