Default Help: 2210 doesn't fully turn off and drains the battery

Ever since I got my 2210 almost a year ago there are times that I turn it off but the screen doesn't fully turn off. The screen will fade out almost entirely and typically about half of it will go totally blank, the other half will show every other line of the last app I was running. It's as though the screen doeesn't fully shut down. Up until now I've just turned the unit back on and off and the screen will go totally blank.

This morning I got to the office to find out my battery is drained. I can only assume it's because I turned the 2210 on for a couple minutes late last night and, since it was dark, I didn't noticed that the screen didn't fully turn off so it drained the battery.

I've never verified that this issue causes battery drain but this is the 3rd time my 2210 has drained the batter when I'm not using it. I can only assume it's caused by the screen issue.

I'm preparing to call HP today so I can get it back to them before the warranty runs out. I just wanted to find out if anyone else has had a similar problem with their 2210/2215.
